| Friday wild card
I was planning to peek at the blog before I hit the sack. And spent 20 minute skimming the comments section. Hilarious! I can see why that's so dang addictive. Partisans were toe to toe fighting out which side I love most. I felt like a proud papa watching his talented siblings go after one another. 'Tis extremely hard not to post or respond to comments. But it appears that Blogmeister Ken Paulman has things very well in hand. So, 'tis time to catch some Zzzzz's and prepare for my final -- I hope! -- day of painting. While I paint and sweat (do you think this is how Duane Hagadone paints his house?), you can use this Wild Card to start threads of your own. Also, remember, you can forward Ken links, questions, comments, photos, etc., for him to post here for you ... .

They are now called…The Famous Millionaire Squad (FMS). I think with the talk of Foxy Brown getting out of jail early it was only natural that her wig get pushed back… Her album is now delayed until Feb of 08. Juelz Santana is also supposedly going to drop in Feb of 08 with a new album! AYE! Congrats to Jay-Z on hitting that No. 1 spot. Peace out Elvis! He sold 433k, Chris Brown pushed 301k and Cassidy squeeked in the Top 10 with 67k sold.

Ketamine to be re-classified
Ketamine is a general anaesthetic used for medical and veterinary purposes and the government is acting on a recommendation from the Expert Advisory Committee on Drugs to classify it. Drug Foundation executive director Ross Bell says while only a small number of people use it illegally, it can be harmful. He says evidence show it is not an addictive drug but it is habit-forming and people can build up a tolerance to it. Bell says the classification will have a small, but positive effect. There will be even tighter controls around the storage of the drug and increased penalties for its importation, possession, manufacture, or supply for illicit purposes. Associate Minister of Health Jim Anderton will still be able to be used as a prescription-only medicine by vets and doctors, but they would need to keep it in an "approved" locked metal or concrete cupboard or compartment.
Realtors Search for Solutions to Dwindling Water Supplies

San Bruno man founds Church of Reality
SAN BRUNO Seconds after Marc Perkel's mind had shifted into a higher state of thinking, he had a revelation: The Church of Reality. Perkel was relaxing alone at home nine years ago when the light bulb went on. "I was smoking a little weed, and I was thinking about religion," said the now 52-year-old realist. "The name kind of popped in my head. But I had a hard time grasping the idea that no one (had) thought about it. Quite frankly, that aspect (has) never gone away." The next morning, The Church of Reality was born. "If it's real, we believe in it," said Perkel, who is self-employed and works in Web hosting and spam filtering. "Anything true will stand up to scrutiny. We're not a faith-based religion. We're doubt-based. The Church of Reality is a new kind of religion." The American Religious Identification Survey, performed in 2001 by the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, found that the non-believer population at that time comprised roughly 14 percent of Americans.
